A La Carte Recruitment has voted Dhirajlal Ratanpara as their Temporary Worker of the Year for 2007/8, the timing of the award coinciding with National Temporary Workers Week. Dhirajlal who lives in the city centre is currently assigned to Bradgate Bakery in Beaumont Leys, working in the hygiene team, where he is responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the factory. Simon Fairey, Director said "The decision on the final winner was not easy as we had eleven other nominations who were all worthy winners. However, we chose Dhirajlal for his flexibility, reliability and positive attitude to work, the three main attributes an employee can possess. Dhirajilal receives a bottle of champagne, a certificate and £100.
Dhirajlal said "I am delighted to receive this award, it means a great deal to me and my family who live in Leicester, America and Australia".
