We can provide staff for a wide range of catering, light industrial, and hi-tech production environments, either pre-planned to assist with a new product launch or short-notice to cover unexpected absence.

We offer various shift patterns and flexible working hours plus all the benefits you’d expect from a regular agency including:

All applicants receive a personal face to face interview so that we can match your skills to the vacancies available. You can choose to work full-time, or part-time perhaps just a few days a week to fit in around your other commotments. We can offer day, afternoon, and night shifts, 7 days of the week, as well as family-friendly shifts in a few places.

We have our own fleet of psv-licensed minibuses for transportation of temporary staff ensuring punctual arrival at their place of work. This is absolutely essential when supplying people for early morning shifts, 7 days of the week, when public transport is not readily available.

On-Site Contract Management

In cases of high volume usage of temporary support staff at a particular location, we are able to set up satellite offices and operate effectively from our clients’ own business premises. This provides a minute by minute recruitment solution, ensuring continuity and consistency of service. Our team of dedicated and experienced On-Site Co-ordinators and Account Managers provide fully-integrated systems to ensure effective communication, training, monitoring of KPI’s and accurate administration of the recruitment process.

We can either set up a brand new on-site contract management location or take over the reins from an outgoing agency supplier. We guarantee a seamless transition of management responsibility, ensuring continuity and minimising disruption to your business and to the workforce

We take away the pressures, distractions and frustrations of having to juggle multiple agencies and instead you deal with A La Carte as your one master vendor. This means that when it is necessary, and with your full agreement, we will contract in pre-screened service partners – nominated “back-up agency” suppliers - to assist when volumes increase exponentially or when specific skill sets are called for. A La Carte Recruitment is authorised by the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health to provide training to Basic and Intermediate Food Hygiene Certificate levels.

If you are a company seeking to train your own food handling staff, we can deliver courses on-site at your premises. Each course is tailor-made to suit your particular needs and nature of your business.
